Spinney Brook Medical Centre - News
Thank you to our patients who have supported us and continue to do so during this unprecedented time.
We have had to adapt our ways of working and avoid face to face contact where possible. It is important for you to only attend the surgery if ...
Does someone depend on you to help with tasks and/or responsibilities of everyday living? Perhaps you care for someone in your family or for a friend? If so, you are a carer and might like some support for yourself. Telling the Surgery can help us to support you and make sure that you yourself get the right sort of care. Please speak to one of our Receptionists or pick up a leaflet from the Reception Desk
Spinney Brook Medical Centre is pleased to offer some pre-bookable, routine Nurse Appointments between 6.30pm and 8.00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please contact our Reception Team for further information or to book an appointment.
From 1st February 2019 we will require 3 working days (72 hours) to process prescription requests. Please remember we are not open on weekends and Bank Holidays. Please bear this in mind when ordering your medication
Please note: If you are 10 minutes or more late for your appointment the Clinical Team may not be able to see you as late arrivals causes disruption for other patients who have arrived on time. You may be asked to re-book your appointment.
In August 2018 the Practice introduced a new text messaging system to remind patients of booked appointments. The new system enables patients to CANCEL appointments from their mobile phones. To date this has had a very positive impact on appointments reducing the number of patients who did not attend their appointment from 236 in July to 134 in August. This has enabled other patients to use these appointments and has reduced time wasted. A big THANK YOU to our patients for their continued support.
