NHS Walk-in Centre
Corby Walk-In Centre on Cottingham Road in Corby is the first GP-led centre in Northamptonshire. The centre sees patients from 8.00am to 8.00pm, seven days a week, and offers a range of services including a nurse-led minor illness service, screening for health problems such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and sexually transmitted diseases, sexual health services, health and wellbeing clinics and an out-of-hours weekend service. Patients are able to walk in or book an appointment over the telephone or internet.
A & E Cases
If you feel you have an acute emergency and your problem needs more urgent treatment, you may need to go to Accident and Emergency at Kettering General Hospital.
Emergencies Include:
- Severe chest pains
- Severe breathing difficulty
- Suspected broken bones
- Heavy bleeding
- Deep wounds (e.g. stab wounds)
- Swallowing something harmful or poisonous
- Loss of consciousness
